You select a line-up for a Game Board level and aim to reach its scoring target as your footballers play their real matches. Who should consider Footium?
Consider Footium if you want to prepare a club for fixtures and react during matches. You can choose a captain, check condition and fit a formation to your players. Tactical changes take a few in-game minutes to apply.

What is free, and what might you pay for?
Sorare provides free Set cards for its Arcade starting route. You cannot sell or trade them. Arcade also includes Gems, a premium currency for exclusive packs and faster collection progress.
Pro cards are separate. Sorare's card guide says you must buy them on its Marketplace or craft them from Essence. A free start does not include every card or entry to every competition. Check the mode's current requirements before committing to it.
Footium lets you manage a club for a season as a free Caretaker. You can manage matches and train players where available, but you cannot use the academy. At season end, you choose how to continue; the same club may not be available.
