TL;DR: what you need to know for Season 25
- Five facilities, all live together from the start of pre-season on Wednesday 4 November. Preseason stamina and leadership training opens Thursday 5 November 2026 at 13:00 UK time.
- Ordinary rating training remains available at Level 0, with your existing two default slots and one coaching slot. Upgrades improve rating training or unlock dedicated stamina and leadership slots.
- What they do: lower condition costs for rating training (Recovery suite), shorter rating sessions (Main pitch), free coaching sessions each season (Coaching office), stamina training (Gym) and leadership training (Changing rooms).
- Same rules as your academy: Level 0 to 5, upgraded one level at a time with FC, maintenance from Level 2 up.
When we announced Season 25, we promised a full deep dive on the Training Centre before it goes live on Wednesday. Here it is.
Stadiums gave you a matchday to build. Academy Upgrades gave you an intake to shape. The Training Centre is the third piece, and it is the one that works on the players you have already got: the 24-year-old centre back with potential left to use, the winger who finishes every match on fumes, and the player you want to hand the armband to.
Develop your facilities with FC to reduce the condition cost or duration of rating training, receive coaching sessions, or unlock stamina and leadership training.
🚦 What is live for Season 25
All five facilities go live together when pre-season starts on Wednesday 4 November: the Coaching office, Recovery suite, Main pitch, Gym and Changing rooms. Preseason stamina and leadership training opens on Thursday 5 November 2026 at 13:00 UK time.
Your two default slots and your coaching slot are retained. Facilities do not add rating-training slots or change the potential-unlock formula. The Gym and Changing rooms each unlock a dedicated attribute slot when available.
🧱 How the Training Centre works
Ordinary rating training uses unlocked potential, condition and time to improve a player’s positional ratings. The Training Centre builds on that system with separately upgradeable facilities.
The Training Centre is currently made up of five facilities. Each one controls a different part of training, and each one has its own level that you upgrade separately. You pick a facility, pay the FC, and it goes up one level, exactly like a stand at your stadium or a building in your academy.
Every facility runs from Level 0 to Level 5. Level 0 preserves ordinary rating training; the Gym and Changing rooms unlock their dedicated slots at Level 1.
- Facilities do not increase a player’s total potential or change the potential-unlock formula. Ordinary rating sessions still spend unlocked potential. Coaching sessions retain their existing rewards, including 90 accumulated minutes per completed session, which can contribute towards unlocking potential.
- Your facilities are applied at the start of a session. Whatever levels you hold when you press start are locked onto that session. Upgrade a building mid-session and the next session gets the benefit, not the one already running.
🏗️ The five facilities
| Facility | Upgrade it and you get |
|---|---|
| Recovery suite | Rating sessions cost less condition, from 25 at Level 0 to 17 at Level 5 |
| Main pitch | Shorter rating sessions, with normal duration halved at Level 5 |
| Coaching office | Free coaching sessions each season, up to 30 at Level 5 |
| Gym | A dedicated stamina slot, up to 6 sessions per player per season and a 95 stamina ceiling at Level 5 |
| Changing rooms | A dedicated leadership slot, up to 5 sessions per player per season and a leadership cap of 99 at every enabled level |
There is no single upgrade order. You could focus on reducing the condition cost of rating training, shorten long sessions for developed players, or invest in the Gym and Changing rooms to develop stamina and leadership. Higher stamina reduces condition lost during matches; leadership improves the contribution of your selected captain.
💰 What upgrades cost
Facility upgrades are paid for in FC, the same currency you use on your stadium and academy and earn from home matches and end-of-season rewards.
Prices are flat across divisions. The table shows the FC charge for each individual upgrade, not the cumulative cost of reaching that level. Upgrades are purchased one level at a time.
| Upgrade | Recovery suite | Gym | Main pitch | Changing rooms | Coaching office |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Level 0 to 1 | 22,500 FC | 15,000 FC | 10,000 FC | 5,000 FC | 40,000 FC |
| Level 1 to 2 | 75,000 FC | 50,000 FC | 35,000 FC | 20,000 FC | 120,000 FC |
| Level 2 to 3 | 300,000 FC | 200,000 FC | 150,000 FC | 75,000 FC | 350,000 FC |
| Level 3 to 4 | 1,500,000 FC | 1,000,000 FC | 600,000 FC | 300,000 FC | 1,080,000 FC |
| Level 4 to 5 | 4,500,000 FC | 3,000,000 FC | 1,800,000 FC | 900,000 FC | 1,800,000 FC |
Early upgrades offer an entry point, while higher levels require a larger FC commitment. You can develop the facilities that suit your squad rather than upgrading everything together.
✅ Coaching office, Recovery suite and Main pitch
🛁 Recovery suite
What it does: lowers the condition cost of rating-training sessions. Stamina and leadership sessions have a fixed condition cost and are not affected.
Condition is the real currency of training. Every session takes a chunk out of a player, and a player who would drop too low cannot train at all, so the number of sessions you can run in a week is set by how much condition your squad can spare. The Recovery suite is the facility that moves that number.
| Level | Saving | Base 25% session becomes |
|---|---|---|
| Level 0 | None | 25 |
| Level 1 | 4% | 24 |
| Level 2 | 8% | 23 |
| Level 3 | 16% | 21 |
| Level 4 | 24% | 19 |
| Level 5 | 32% | 17 |
Early Recovery upgrades offer modest condition savings. Higher levels make a bigger difference, with Level 5 reducing a standard rating session’s condition cost from 25 to 17, a 32% saving. You still need to balance training against match readiness and available potential.
⚽ Main pitch
What it does: shortens rating-training sessions. Stamina and leadership sessions remain fixed at 2 h 30 and are not affected.
A player in training is out of your squad until he finishes, and sessions get longer the more potential a player has already used, so your most developed starters are the ones who spend longest off the pitch. The Main pitch brings them back sooner.
| Level | Normal rating-session duration | Base 2 h 30 session becomes |
|---|---|---|
| Level 0 | 100% | 2 h 30 |
| Level 1 | 90% | 2 h 15 |
| Level 2 | 80% | 2 h 00 |
| Level 3 | 70% | 1 h 45 |
| Level 4 | 60% | 1 h 30 |
| Level 5 | 50% | 1 h 15 |
The multiplier applies to the player’s full normal rating-session duration, including the increase from used potential. Level 2 takes 20% off that duration for 45,000 FC in total construction costs. It does not change the condition cost or rewards of a session.
📋 Coaching office
What it does: gives you free coaching sessions each season, with immediate top-ups when you upgrade.
The Coaching office adds ordinary coaching-session consumables to your club’s balance once per season when pre-season processing completes. It does not add a training slot or change the rewards from an individual session. Use those sessions in your existing coaching slot.
| Level | Free coaching sessions per season |
|---|---|
| Level 0 | 0 |
| Level 1 | 1 |
| Level 2 | 3 |
| Level 3 | 8 |
| Level 4 | 15 |
| Level 5 | 30 |
Building or upgrading the Coaching office midway through a season adds the extra sessions straight away: the difference between the new entitlement and the amount already granted that season, or the full entitlement if none has been granted yet.
🏋️ Gym and Changing rooms
The Gym and Changing rooms add something you could not do before. Stamina and leadership have always been set when a player is generated, and the only way to improve either was to buy a player who already had it. The Gym and Changing rooms change that.
Each facility unlocks one dedicated attribute-training slot at Level 1. Every completed session adds +1 to the relevant attribute, takes a fixed 2 h 30 and costs a fixed 10 condition. Recovery suite and Main pitch upgrades do not change these costs. Attribute sessions do not change positional ratings, spend potential or award accumulated minutes. Each player has a seasonal allowance for each attribute. Stamina training has a ceiling set by Gym level; leadership can be trained up to 99 at every enabled Changing rooms level.
🏋️ Gym
What it does: opens a stamina slot.
Stamina decides how fast a player loses condition during a match, and since Season 22 it has mattered a lot more: tired players are the ones who pick up injuries, and rotation is part of the job. Wingers, full backs and anyone you play in a mentality feel it most.
| Level | Stamina sessions per player per season | Stamina training ceiling |
|---|---|---|
| Level 0 | None | No stamina training |
| Level 1 | 2 | 75 |
| Level 2 | 3 | 78 |
| Level 3 | 4 | 82 |
| Level 4 | 5 | 87 |
| Level 5 | 6 | 95 |
You can start developing a player’s stamina at a lower Gym level and continue as you upgrade. The ceiling limits further training gains, not the player’s existing attribute: a player already above it keeps his stamina but cannot improve it there. Attribute gains stay with the player after a transfer or a facility downgrade.
👔 Changing rooms
What it does: opens a leadership slot.
Leadership only counts for one player in your XI, your captain, but his leadership sets how much of a lift the whole team gets. The Changing rooms let you take the player you actually want wearing the armband and make him worthy of it.
| Level | Leadership sessions per player per season |
|---|---|
| Level 0 | None |
| Level 1 | 1 |
| Level 2 | 2 |
| Level 3 | 3 |
| Level 4 | 4 |
| Level 5 | 5 |
Level 2 costs 25,000 FC in total construction costs and permits up to 2 leadership sessions per player per season. There is no level-specific leadership ceiling: every enabled Changing rooms level can train leadership up to 99. As with stamina, gains stay with the player; a transfer or facility downgrade does not reduce existing leadership.
🌙 Preseason attribute training
Preseason stamina and leadership training opens on Thursday 5 November 2026 at 13:00 UK time (GMT), then remains available during the season. It is not available throughout the whole preseason. Normal rating training, including coaching sessions, runs from the first matchday to the last. No new rating sessions can start while rating training is closed.
When off-season attribute training is enabled at the break-start reset, condition is set to at least 70; players already above 70 keep their current condition. It is not a guaranteed reset to 100.
Your attribute-training allowance follows the player, not the club:
- Preseason stamina and leadership sessions count towards the upcoming season’s allowance. The allowance does not reset again on the first matchday.
- Usage is tracked per player, attribute and season. Transfers do not reset it. A facility upgrade increases the season’s total allowance, rather than adding an entirely fresh allocation on top of sessions already used.
- A session reserves one use of the player’s seasonal allowance when it starts. Cancelling it restores that use once. Repairs, downgrades and re-upgrades do not reset the player’s usage.
🔨 Keeping your facilities in good order
Developed facilities can need maintenance. In game, each building is shown as either healthy or needing maintenance.
| Rule | How it works |
|---|---|
| Which facilities | Level 2 and above. Level 0 and Level 1 never need maintenance |
| How likely | A 15% chance per eligible facility each season. Training Centre maintenance is separate from stadium and academy maintenance |
| Maintenance cost | 40% of the charge to upgrade into the facility’s current level, not 40% of cumulative construction costs |
| If you leave it | The facility drops one level at season rollover |
If one of your facilities needs work, you will see it in the Training tab with the FC cost. You have the season to deal with it, and it keeps giving you its benefits in the meantime.
The first Training Centre maintenance roll takes place at the start of Season 26. There is no Training Centre maintenance roll during the launch season, Season 25.
🎮 How this all works in game
The Training Centre lives inside the Training tab, with Sessions and Facilities views.
- Sessions: your training slots, with rating-session condition costs and duration reflecting your facilities. Stamina and leadership sessions keep their fixed 10 condition and 2 h 30 duration.
- Facilities: your buildings, their levels and benefits, and the FC cost of the next upgrade or any maintenance due.
- Stamina and Leadership: the new attribute slots.
⚠️ A note on the first season
These are the launch values. We will monitor training activity, squad condition, player development and FC spent on facilities, and communicate any balance changes and the reasons for them.

❓ FAQs
Do I need to build anything to keep training?
No. Ordinary rating training remains available at Level 0. The Gym and Changing rooms unlock dedicated stamina and leadership training at Level 1.
Does any facility change a player’s potential?
No facility increases total potential or changes the unlock formula. Coaching sessions retain their existing rewards, including 90 accumulated minutes per completed session. Stamina and leadership training do not use potential or award minutes.
Can a Division 8 club build a Division 1 training ground?
Yes, if you own the club. Training Centre prices and facility benefits are the same across divisions. Caretaker clubs cannot use facility actions or effects.
Do stamina and leadership sessions use potential?
No. Each costs 10 condition and 2 h 30, adds +1 to the relevant attribute and counts against that player’s seasonal allowance. It does not change positional ratings, potential or accumulated minutes.
I upgraded while a player was mid-session. Does he get the benefit?
Not that one. Facilities are applied when a session starts, so the next session gets the new level.
Do I keep my facilities next season?
Yes. Facility levels persist from season to season. Training Centre maintenance first applies at the start of Season 26.
Your squad is only as good as the place it trains. Time to build it.
